Hi! Am Arpith Ashok..

Am 20 years young, simple, disciplined, happy and blessed by the Creator to perceive this beautiful world in my own unique way. With time, I have understood that my Autism limits my ability to express verbally or reciprocate in what the world calls the “Normal” way. But this also means I don’t think of the world around me as much as others and this is helping me find my own voice, through colours and art.

Art is my medium of expression, born out of my own struggle. I have difficulty in understanding boundaries while writing. Until the age of 14, myself & my parents never thought, that, i can paint due to my writing difficulty. My Art teacher identified my eye for colours and encouraged me to paint. With the mentorship of my teachers & support from parents, I'm what I'm today. I don't want to work towards success but towards Excellence.

I have always been attracted to colors, nature, the silence, the subtlety of nature’s expressions, shapes and patterns. I find that colours create a fantastical view on life that I believe we all share in our own way. Soft pastels, blocks, contrasts, brights, all of them express themselves in many ways that influence our moods.

I have been painting for five years now and am exploring options in developing ways to make this art mean something to others. Beyond Brushes is my startup & This has led me to explore art not just on canvas but also on other mediums like photography, art on homeware, merchandise etc which can also be used for decorative and gifting purposes.
My objective is not to work towards success but towards Excellence.
