Okay. Why can’t I do this myself?

You’re a designer and a creative soul. You’d love to make T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Hoodies right? So why haven’t you? We’ll tell you why… it’s a nightmare!

  • Setting up a print shop is hard. Sourcing the right fabric is hard. Learning about printing is hard. Customer service is hard. Having to manage a website is hard. Marketing is hard. Shipping is hard. There is a lot of research, sampling, trial and errors involved. Ufff… trust us when we say it’s hard. So you use your energy on your art while we use ours in dealing all other stuffs. This way it’s a symbiotic relationship.
  • What if you could post your design for sale in a high-quality, designer friendly, original design-focused online shop and have someone else take care of everything else for you? FOR FREE! No buying hundreds of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies upfront. No inventory. No shipping. No customer service. No risk. No hassles.

Sounds like a dream right? It’s not. It’s us!

Here’s how to get started:

  • Mail us your sample designs to [email protected]
  •  We’ll take a look at it and decide if it’s right for us. Fair warning: we reject up to 90% of submissions. We’re not kidding when we say your designs need to turn some eyes. 
  • You get a 10% commission on every sale made with your designs. Remember, you only give us your art. We take care of sales, shipping, customer support and store maintainence. Free of cost. So, the more it sells, the more you earn. Our designs cover all age categories. The audience is huge, widespread and varied. You will know who loves your work more very soon so that you can design accordingly.
  • The designs we finalize needs to be for Kornayas exclusively. It cannot be on any other platforms or e-commerce lines whatsoever. Whoever you sell to, should only be through us. It shall be by parts and whole a property of Kornayas till you are onboard with us. Reason? If no exclusivity, it kills the market. Both for you and us. 
  • Files must be PNG format, at least 4000 pixels on its longest side, with a transparent background. Trim the PNG so there’s no extra space around the design.
  • Your design goes live on kornayas.com and people can start buying it, like immediately. You spread the word like crazy to your friends, family, and followers. The more you spread the more you gain. Publicity is the key.
  • If there are any customer service issues - lost packages, returns, refunds, exchanges, wrong size, wrong address, etc. we deal with them ourselves. No drama for you!
  • Kornayas is a curated platform open for everyone. Just imagine how many designs get submitted to us every week. We even get super cute drawings from kids (sometimes, scribbles from adults ಠ_ಠ )
  • We would love to put every design we get on our apparels, but that’s just not practically possible. Some designs might look better only on a canvas. Moreover, by just approving everything our brand will lose the unique trait. It will also be hard for customers to find your designs. Sales might get affected too. So, we only sell your best work.
  • Other common reasons for rejecting a design include stolen artwork, low quality design, or offensive material.

Nothing! Literally zero. There are no upfront costs whatsoever for our on demand and pre-order apparels. Sound good right? Yeah, we thought so too.

Oh yeah! We can print on Kids tees, Hoodies, Sweatshirt, Crop tops & hoodies, Full sleeve tees, Mugs and Posters. Even design customization can be done. For availability they can contact us or contact you directly via your store page.

We issue payments 15th of every month. It shall be duly processed to your bank account.

  • You’ll receive an automated email for every order placed with your design. This way you can keep track of your sales made.
  • We also provide you with an exclusive store page!  Your store page also has customization options like changing profile photo, cover photo, store description. 
  • We also provide you a seller dashboard where you can view your orders, commissions, order status.

Your designs will go live on our website with a week of approval and they can find all your designs under “Artist Collaboration” on the main menu. 

Not quite…you can however buy a sample piece for a reduced price. Only one item from each apparel type. 

Self Promotion is your answer!

As an independent artist, self-promotion is necessary to getting your work out there and helping you find a bigger audience. Here’s a few ways..

  • Social Media – Sharing on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram
  • Promotional Images – Order a sample of a couple of your favorite designs, and then take pictures of yourself or your loved ones wearing them. Post those pictures where your target demographic might see them, which again is on social media.
  • Events and Stalls  – Now that we got your back, you can attend events, exhibitions or set up a stall promoting your art without any worry. If your customer likes any of your artwork, you can give them choices where they want it printed on!
  • Our Help – We’re rootin’ for you too! We help you out by featuring artist’s designs on our homepage randomly. Posting stories on our instagram and facebook pages.

We have provided you with a platform that gives you freedom to sell your art without having to worry about the retail side of things. There’s no limit to where you can and how many you can sell to anyone. In the end, marketing for yourself is the best way to sell your work. Good Luck!

We’ll be sad to see you leave but 2 weeks notice is mandatory after you register with us.

Yes. We are artists ourselves, so we know how precious your work is. We sell your art only, as long as you are signed up with us. We delete them if you choose to leave.
